The mythos of the witch strongly supported the idea that she did not act independently, but instead relied on influencing others. One guy from the group goes unaccounted for, and at the end we only see Mike and Heather (presumably).
We see a few of them in Blair Witch 2016. The original look of Elly Kedward, the elongated arms and legs from when she was left to die, and she can also take the form of people like Heather for example. My favourite version is the one Mary Brown says in the first film as well as the guy at the lake.
Here is the list of the month's schedule. Synopsis: Three film students vanish after traveling into a Maryland forest to film a documentary on the local Blair Witch legend, leaving only their footage behind. Director: Daniel Myrick, Eduardo Sánchez. Writers: Daniel Myrick, Eduardo Sánchez. Cast:
Mr. Rustin Parr. Mr. Rustin Parr was a man who confessed to killing seven young boys in his house in the woods. Parr explained that he would kidnap them in pairs and force one to stand in the corner while he killed the other in The Blair Witch Project mythology. In the final moments of the film, Mike is standing and facing the corner as Heather
The whole movie is essentially a cautionary tale as if told from the puritan villagers who expelled the family at the beginning. As if to say 'if you stray from our good grace these are the evils that shall befall you'. As all of the events that happen are sort of reflections of the non-communal life they chose. 20.
